Every step leads to the next step. One cannot know where one will land in 10 steps if the step in front of them is what holds their attention and presence. In this lies the discomfort and the adventure.
You wish to know where you are going and what will it be like and what will happen when I'm there. What if instead, you focused on enlivening the aspects of Self that are feeling tired and weary?
Trust that where you will go is where you will need to be. Plans are okay to make, but may attempt to bypass an important lesson or detour that needed to occur.
The detours are not time wasted or impositions to sweep away, but important signposts and what is necessary to capture your attention and to keep you aligned to the Way.
Sometimes the mind interjects with its justifications and ways of "making sense" of things and determining best outcomes to lead you forward. Yet you find you end up back where you started and needing to once again refine the vision before more action can be taken.
You've been making some erratic choices that don't always lead you where you seek to go, but don't believe any of these choices should not have been made, for there is always a gift, there is always a lesson, which was ripe for you if the events unfolded as they did.
The question is, will you learn from the experiences you have collected so far, and will these guide you to something more true and more whole-hearted than you initially allowed yourself to align to?
Your "challenges" can prevent you from making more headway down a road that was not where you needed to go, though it offered some interesting realisations you'll take with you to where you are indeed traveling.
On we go, there is no misstep or wrong turn, it is just a lesson you felt best to learn now, than delay for later.
Any lesson that arises is right for you in this moment with this level of awareness and comprehension.... you cannot bypass the lessons your soul has chosen and are agreed to upon your journey to where you are going.
Where you're going is important, but as you know, it's not as important as learning the Way. The point where the Way there and Being there intersect is where you find peace. It can not be understood in reason. It must be felt. It must be lived.
Come back to the drawing board. Come back to the blank slate of what you desire and consider if the choices you have made so far are determined from this compass.
Do they represent the Way you deem true, noble and integrous? What if you could start again? What if you could return to the essence of what you wish to bring forth in life, in relationships, in projects, in material form?
What if you truly focused only on this for the moment, and put all other doubts and considerations aside? This is not a demand or instruction, but a question. A question to be with this month.
If you planted seeds of intention and aligned your efforts here for the month ahead, what momentum could take shape? You are learning a new way of being that requires some experimentation, some faith, and some playfulness.
You fear if you don't weigh up all the variables then something will be missed. What if all the variables don't need to be counted? What if the variables that matter are what you hone in on and travel with in your choices ahead.
The question to guide you this month ahead is, if I really devoted myself to my joy, how would that impact every decision I made each day moment by moment?
Every orientation closer to your joy manifests more joyful outcomes in further steps along. So it is here that we are seeding the future we seek.
Big decisions matter, but so do the little everyday choice points that can seem inconsequential.
In the end, there are no "big" decisions and "small decisions" - it is all but one decision, to serve the light no matter what. To return to me, to return to you. And trust there is no grander place to be.
